Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New year everyone! This time of year always seems to sneak up on us and then pass in the blink of an eye. We truly hope that you were able to slow the pace down for a bit, sit back and enjoy a cup of your favorite beverage with those that mean a lot to you. I did and man was it brilliant!

This year was another incredible year me, Andy & Dave and we can’t thank you all enough for your parts in helping make 2014 one that we will never forget. We started off 2014 with the official North American launch of our new album “Rebuilding the fallen empire” in our hometown on Vancouver then used that momentum to put our heads down and run with it!

Just to share some of our 2014 adventures with you;

We filmed multiple videos for the album, photo-shoots on casino rooftops, had the albums singles do incredible internationally, was interviewed everywhere from beaches to green rooms with DJ’s all over the world, saw our album get amazing reviews online both Nationally and Internationally, performed for thousands, released a remixed version of our album called “Remixing the fallen empire” with Missy Elliott’s DJ (DJ Mellow D), had our music featured in blog after blog, toured out to Eastern Canada and then ended the year with our heads held high and big plans for 2015!

I said from the stage at our first show of 2014 that this was the “Year of YUCA” and it was. But I’m still hungry for more and won’t be satisfied until everyone in the world has heard our name and especially OUR MUSIC!

So what’s next for YUCA? Taking more risks, being more open and honest, writing more new music, recording and releasing a brand new album and then touring our faces off! We gotta get to each and every one of you and show you what we do best – PERFORM!
